COMPOSITION: It has pretty sharp lines on the upper half of the photo and then really blurred lines on the bottom half. It's pretty symmetrical because of the reflection from the lighthouse below it. TEXTURE: The way the sky is photographed gives it a textured look with how the clouds formed. And in the center of the image it is really light in comparison with the outer edges, so it creates greater contrast. SHADOWS: The shadows from the lighthouse and its surrounding architecture creates some dark shadows on the top of the water. CONTRAST BETWEEN SUBJECT AND BACKGROUND: The lighthouse is really light while the surrounding clouds are rather dark so it creates a nice contrast between the two.

     Dear me, you have to start getting your stuff together now, and I know you don't know how to do that right now but hopefully I can help you out with that. This photo class you're taking is going to be interesting but it will require work. You have to think of interesting concepts (and execute them on time). You just have to take it one project at a time, and know that sometimes the task is more challenging than some of the others. When you are taking the photos, don't be afraid to try interesting angles and different types of composition, cause that's what will make your photos really interesting. Use color, or don't use color. Adjust the contrast and the brightness, or give it a blurry look. It is really limitless what you can do, you just have to clear your head of all the other junk and just use that time to let yourself be creative.
